Perth Western Australia, a fresh and vibrant town of new and old cultures all rolled into one!
We start today with a city sights of Perth, featuring St George's Terrace, the War Memorial, Barracks Arch and Parliament House

In amongst the city of Perth lies its natural treasure of Kings Park, take in the views from the look out. The spectacular Swan River stretches out before us.

We now cruise along the river taking in Barrack Street Jetty's and new Centenary Bell tower

Out to Olive Farm for morning tea. This delightful setting has the oldest cellars built in WA, built in the 1950's. Our lovely picnic area is right next to where boats tie up along the river

Next stop Guildford! The most historical town in the Swan Valley, it has the original Government residence and Guildford Grammar schoolboys school, is the most prestigious school in WA. Ask your guide about the Red Cross on the Roof that continues to re-appear after each time it is painted.

Fancy a palate cleanser? Then lets visit the Rose and Crown Brewery micro brewery, the owner/manager is a real character and is sure to tantalize you with a local ale or two!

The Potters village, exhibition room where local artists works are displayed and potters can be viewed working in their studios. If you like something orders can be made direct from these artists

In the Swan Valley there are a wide variety of wineries such as Houghton and Sandleford to smaller family owned wineries like Jane Brook

Lunch is at the top of valley, at Milston Garden Restaurant, We find ourselves a nice shady area with a herb garden out the back This venue is well renowned for its fine cuisine.

Mali Mia, aboriginal gallery run by the njungar Tribe, make authentic artwork such as digeridoos, boomerangs paintings and pottery. Boast that their boomerangs do return and will give you demonstrations to prove it. Also those interested in purchasing a digeridoo will get taught how to play.

The Chocolate Factory "Abandon hope all ye who enter here!". Chocolates for tasting.

The cheese factory, Italian family making cheese for 11 years, just opened up a tasting facility.

There are 25 registered wineries in the Swan Valley
Tours are structured the same as Classic Times Barossa Valley with fine food and structured to suit each persons special tastes.
